The brief

The customer wanted a single connected piece for Gary and Jackie's Ruby Anniversary: the words "Ruby Anniversary", the names "Gary & Jackie", a wine-glass toast motif, and the line "On the Run Since 1986" underneath. Everything needed to read as one piece rather than separate stacked elements.

From AI concept to finished cut

The starting point was an AI-generated design concept the customer brought to us. From there the design went through real, dated revisions before a single cut was made: an initial concept, a second pass adjusting the layout and wording, and a final vector file prepared for cutting. Each stage was proofed before moving to the next.

This is the part of the process that does not show up in a finished photo: turning a generative-AI mockup into a file a laser can actually cut, at the right scale, in a material that holds fine script and small connecting points without snapping.
