The brief

The design needed to read as one connected piece in gold mirror acrylic: "Happy 80th Birthday" alongside a bullseye target motif, sized for a cake and mounted on two stakes.

From AI image to cuttable vector

A laser cannot cut a raster image directly, so the concept went through several real production steps before cutting began: the AI image was traced into vector outlines, the design was split into separate elements to keep the lettering and the target rings structurally sound as one connected piece, and the paths were cleaned up into a final cutting file.
