Which artwork format gives the cleanest engraving?

SVG or another vector format normally gives the cleanest result. A clear, high-resolution PNG or PDF may also be suitable.

Will every tag measure exactly 30mm?

The finished size is approximately 30mm and may vary slightly with the proportions and shape of the supplied logo.

Are the tags edible?

No. They are plywood display pieces and must be removed before the cake is consumed.

Can I reorder the same design?

Yes. Provide your previous order details where possible so we can check the earlier approved artwork.

File requirements:

  • PNG (transparent background preferred), SVG, or high-resolution PDF
  • Minimum 300 DPI for raster files
  • Vector format (SVG or PDF) gives the sharpest engraving result

Logos with clean lines and bold shapes engrave best into wood. Very fine detail or thin strokes may not hold clearly at 30mm — if you are unsure, message us before ordering and we will review your file first.

Engraving is permanent. As plywood is a natural material, slight variation in grain tone may occur between pieces.

Production time: 3–5 working days (varies by pack size)

Delivery: 2–4 working days after dispatch

Larger packs (50 or 100) may require up to 5 working days before dispatch. If you have a specific date you need the order by, add a note at checkout and we will confirm whether it is achievable.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Each product is made and personalised to order. Allow 1 to 3 working days to dispatch, then 2 to 4 working days for UK delivery. You'll get a dispatch confirmation once it's on its way.

What happens if I make a mistake typing my personalisation?

We engrave exactly what you enter on the product page, so check spelling, spacing and capitalisation before adding to cart. Spot a mistake right after ordering? Message us. We can usually catch it before production starts; once a product is made, it can't be undone.

How do I look after this?

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Keep it away from soaking, the dishwasher and direct heat, and the engraving will stay sharp for years.

Can I return this if I change my mind?

Each product is personalised to your order, so we don't offer exchanges once it's made. If something arrives damaged or faulty, email us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll sort it. Full process in our Returns & Refund Policy.
